Truro School Cookery is a state-of-the-art cookery school with a difference. Situated on the campus at Truro School, we provide high quality cookery lessons for the pupils at Truro School during term time in partnership with Leiths School of Food and Wine, and a wide range of cookery courses for the wider community at evenings, weekends and all through the school holidays.
We believe cooking should be relaxed and enjoyable so our courses provide one-to-one guidance and tuition for all ages and abilities designed to encourage confidence in the kitchen.
We also believe that good food should be shared so our focus is feasting – be it AJ’s homemade breakfast sharing table on arrival, the ‘feast for four’ you will make to take home, or the menu you will share together in our ‘Friday Night Is…’ series. Whilst the focus is making and enjoying fabulous food together, ice cold fizz and cracking tunes are also a given, as we believe our cookery courses should be about time out and pampering as well as cooking and feasting.
Our team is made up of a unique mix of experienced cookery teachers and innovative chefs, so whether you are a beginner looking to learn new skills, or a confident cook looking to be inspired, Truro School Cookery has something for everyone. We also specialise in ‘Chefs table’ private dining, corporate cookery team building and bespoke cookery days for making memories.
