Unwind after a week at work with drinks & dinner with a difference, where you will learn how to cook one of your three courses!

This Friday Night…learn how to cook the perfect Cornish seafood linguine!

It’s a simple idea, you cook one of your three courses (highlighted in the menu below) under the expert guidance of one of our Chefs, and we cook and serve you the rest! Think of it as a restaurant quality meal where you learn a new skill, enjoy a bit of hands-on cookery, and sit down for a three course dinner!

Menu

Duchy charcuterie speck (lightly cured smoked ham) salad with artichokes, chicory, peaches, hazelnuts and parmesan

Cornish seafood linguine with white wine, garlic, chilli, tomatoes and crisp breadcrumbs

Caramelised Lemon tart with lashings of clotted cream and blackberries 

How the evening goes….

A chilled glass of fizz is served from 7pm and shortly after Chef will demonstrate the ‘dish of the week’, such as how to panfry a sensational sirloin or prep the loveliest lobster. Then it’s over to you to don your apron and  ‘ready steady cook’ one of the dishes of the evening, sometimes your starter or maybe your main course! At £35 for a glass of fizz, three courses with a matched glass of wine, Friday Night at Truro School Cookery is the place to be. We even do the washing up and send you home with all the recipes from the evening! What’s not to like?

We will try our very best to adapt our menus for specific dietary requirements. Regrettably, not all menus can be adapted and recipes cannot be adapted on the day. Details must be emailed at the time of booking to cookery@truroschool.com.

Please feel free to ‘bring your own’ additional wine or beer.

We will be following all up to date government Covid guidelines for these events.
