Working in collaboration with James/Chetwode and Charles we are putting on our first ever food photography evening. We’ll discuss various aspects of food photography with a glass of wine before getting out our phones and cameras and putting the theories to the test. We’ll focus mainly on a few key, fun practical tricks and tips but also discuss the more complex ideas about colour, style and food photography as a profession.
Then we’ll enjoy some delicious food from Truro School Cookery. Aj and his team will serve up a hearty beef short rib chilli with kohlrabi slaw before bringing out their infamous IPA treacle tart with grapefruit creme fraiche while we discuss the results. Bring your own phones and cameras, everything else will be provided. The assumption will be that smartphones are the weapon of choice but cameras will be welcome too.
Recommended ages 18+ years
Bring either a smartphone or camera, and always remember a spare battery or charger just in case.
We will try our very best to adapt our menus for specific dietary requirements. However, details must be emailed at the time of booking to firstname.lastname@example.org. Regrettably recipes and menus cannot be adapted on the day.
